Our progress
With over 1,400 colleagues across seven offices, we’re deeply connected to the places where we work and the communities we call home. Through our Give A Day programme, every colleague gets a day each year to volunteer for a cause they care about. Across the firm, our people regularly step up to give back in their communities and together, drive lasting change where it matters most.
To show up where we can make the greatest difference, we match our resources and capabilities with what we know communities need most. We believe we can make the greatest sustainable impact in the following three areas:
Achieving more for the next generation
We work to inspire and nurture talent from marginalised and underserved communities by providing skills and employment opportunities.
Helping communities thrive
We source locally where we can, and engage in community projects with grassroots charities, social enterprises and other impact-driven community organisations.
Giving back to our planet
We support organisations improving biodiversity and nature restoration in our local communities (see the planet section of this report).

We will further embed volunteering as a meaningful part of working life at Mills & Reeve, with a growing focus on high-quality, skills-based opportunities that enable colleagues to apply their expertise where it can make the greatest difference.
Using our voice and influence
We will be more deliberate in how we share our impact story, celebrating the contribution of our people, elevating our partners, and using our platform to amplify the causes we support.
